The booking or register page shows the shortcode as text
The page displays [dsb_booking] or [dsb_register] instead of the actual screen.
Symptom: instead of the booking flow or register, the page literally shows the text [dsb_booking] or [dsb_register].
Usual cause: the shortcode isn't being recognised on that page, most often because the plugin is deactivated, or the shortcode was pasted with formatting (curly quotes or styled text) rather than as plain text.
Fix:
- Check the plugin is active on the Plugins screen.
- Edit the page and retype the shortcode by hand in a plain paragraph or Shortcode block, exactly as
[dsb_booking], straight square brackets, no styling. - View the page once while logged in as an administrator. Tempo remembers the page holding the shortcode the first time it renders, so this "introduces" a rebuilt page to the plugin.
If your site is built with a page builder whose templates don't process shortcodes, your web designer can place the flow with a template function instead; that route is covered in the For Developers section.
