The "Book classes" link leads to a missing page

Emails or account buttons link to a page that shows "not found".

Symptom: the "Book classes" button in emails or the account area leads to a "page not found" error.

Usual cause: the booking page was trashed or unpublished, often during a site tidy-up. A trashed page keeps a web address of sorts, so old links point at a dead end.

Fix:

  1. Go to Tempo → Dashboard and find the System health → Book classes page check. It names the page Tempo is linking to and fails with the reason when that page is unpublished or no longer contains the booking shortcode.
  2. Restore the page from the bin (Pages → Bin) and publish it, or open whichever published page now holds [dsb_booking] once as an administrator so Tempo adopts it.
  3. Re-check the dashboard; the health check should pass.

Tempo also self-heals here: it ignores any remembered page that is no longer published, and adopts a published page containing the booking shortcode when one exists. While nothing suitable exists, links point at your site's home page rather than a dead address, so members are never stranded on an error page.
